Proceeds from sales of a vintage-style Team Boomer t-shirt, designed by clothing manufacturer Homage, will benefit the Boomer Esiason Foundation and the cystic fibrosis community.
The gray shirts display “Team Boomer” in orange block letters on the front, with an orange “7” — the number Boomer wore on his football jerseys — on the back. The tees are a cotton-polyester-rayon blend and come in unisex sizes XS-XXL. They sell for $28 on the Homage website, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the Foundation.
According to the Homage, the company “turns back the clock with eclectic moments and personalities in sports, music, politics and popular culture. Our tees tell stories of triumph, individualism and hustle, preserving the old school and creating new legacies.”
The Foundation’s Young Professionals Committee worked closely with Homage to create this innovative and exciting cause marketing program. Special thanks to the YPC’s Bob Philp and Sean Connery for their assistance with and support of the project.
