As part of its CF Awareness Month focus on exercise, the Boomer Esiason Foundation has released Episode 16 in the CF Wind Sprint series: Cardio Exercises.
In this video, BEF Volunteer Jerry Cahill shares his favorite simple cardio exercises that help keep the lungs clear of mucus. In addition to helping improve the flow of air in and out of the lungs, cardio (aerobic) exercise also can strengthen the heart muscle, improve circulation and reduce blood pressure, and facilitate the transport of oxygen throughout the body.
