WFAN’s morning drive duo of Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton will have to switch gears — from debating the merits of the Mets to the deliciousness of dishes — for their appearance this Sunday, May 29, on the Food Network’s “Iron Chef America.”
Boomer and Carton won’t enter the confines of Kitchen Stadium as rookie judges. They were on the show once before — and this time they want to make sure their sophomore effort is seen by the hungry masses.
“Last time we did it, they never told us the air date so we couldn’t promote it and we aired I think on New Year’s Day,” Carton said to Iron Chef Michael Symon last September.
“Can you just make sure that they let us know,” added Esiason, “so we can promote it?”
No problem. Here it is again, for added emphasis.
The Food Network. Sunday, May 29. 10 p.m.
“We would love that. I want to make sure it’s promoted correctly too, just because of some of Craig’s wonderful comments,” Symon cracked back.
