Vintage and collector cars from across the tri-state area recently rolled into the parking lot of Berkeley College in Paramus, N.J., for the 7th Annual Charity Car Show. A total of 345 cars were registered in the show, which raised more than $25,000 for the Boomer Esiason Foundation to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

A check was presented last week at the New York City headquarters of WFAN Radio, which hosts the Boomer and Carton Morning Show.

"Thanks to a matching donation from Berkeley College and the involvement of many volunteers, this year's Charity Car Show broke records from previous shows and raised a significant amount of money for this worthy cause," said Robert Oddo, Berkeley College Senior Director of Enrollment and Founder of the Car Show.

The Charity Car Show was supported by a team of Berkeley College associates and students, along with their families and friends.

Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States, and 70,000 people worldwide.

The Boomer Esiason Foundation is a dynamic partnership of leaders in the medical and business communities joining with a committed core of volunteers to heighten awareness, education and the quality of life for those affected by cystic fibrosis, while providing financial support to research aimed at finding a cure.
